WorkersDisability Compensation
Workers' disability compensation is an employee benefit that has been available to Michigan workers since 1912. Compensation is provided for disability or death as a result of a work-related injury or disease without regard to who may be at fault.

Unemployment Insurance
Unemployment Insurance provides temporary income replacement
to workers who become unemployed through no fault of their own. The benefits are paid from the Unemployment Trust Fund which is administered in Michigan by the Unemployment Agency (UA) of the Department of Consumer and Industry Services.
