Step 1: Register as a Vendor

• NEW SOLICITATION NOTIFICATION SYSTEM
We're off and running!   Vendor registration for the Michigan online notification system became available effective Monday, November 17, 2008.  Bids posted on the current Michigan bid site also became available through the new system for automatic notification, viewing, and download on this date.  The URL for the new site is:  www.bid4michigan.com.  Click on the URL to go directly to this site.

To allow vendors to enjoy the type of notification services and access to opportunity most suited for them, vendors are asked to complete the online registration process in the new system even if they have previously registered to do business with the State.

Registration of supplier information and Electronic Funds Transfer will continue to be required through the site below as well, to allow the State to make payment for products supplied and work completed on awarded purchases.

• Complete the Online Vendor Registration Process and, if applicable, Michigan Business Certification
You will need your Tax ID number, banking information, and business characteristics available before beginning.

Step 2: Prepare and Research

• Freedom of Information Act Request to Obtain Contract Information
Links to current contracts are being added to the Complete Contract List. Until that list is completely updated, a FOIA request, which may involve a fee, is needed to obtain current contracts not on that list.
