Offender Tracking Information System (OTIS)

This site provides Internet users with information about a wide variety of offenders who are, or were, under the supervision of the Michigan Department of Corrections. The Offender Tracking Information System (OTIS) contains information about more than 300,000 prisoners, parolees and probationers. OTIS does NOT contain: Information that is exempt under the Michigan Freedom Of Information Act. Information about anyone who has been arrested and convicted but not yet sentenced. Information about prisoners in county jails or city lockups, or about offenders who were sentenced to jail only. Jails are operated by counties. State prisons are operated by the MDOC. Photographs of offenders who left the system before electronic photographs were taken or who are in the system but have not yet been taken.
