Michigan Department of Human Services Director Ismael Ahmed announced today the appointment of Douglas Williams as director of the Oakland County DHS.
"Mr. Williams has demonstrated significant administrative skills and has extensive experience," Ahmed said. "I am confident that, as director of the Oakland office, he will continue to provide quality leadership."
Williams will be responsible for the administration of federal cash assistance programs and adult services. He has been a DHS employee for 30 years and holds a bachelor's degree in communication education from Michigan State University.
