MPSC Approves Settlement Agreement Authorizing Northern States Power Company to Implement Its 2008-2009 Gas Cost Recovery Factor

The Michigan Public Service Commission (MPSC) today approved a settlement agreement authorizing Northern States Power Company to implement its 2008-2009 gas cost recovery (GCR) factor.

The approved settlement agreement implements a GCR factor of up to $1.0727 per therm for the months of April 2008 through March 2009, effective the first billing month after July 29.

The utility and MPSC staff participated in the settlement agreement.

The MPSC is an agency within the Department of Labor & Economic Growth.
