Juniors, earn the Art to Wear badge during a fun overnight program at the Michigan Historical Museum.
Take a guided tour through the museum to learn about fashion through the ages and discuss how it has changed. Campers will make a bracelet to exchange with a new friend and then express their wild side by tie-dyeing a bandana. Girls will get a chance to explore their creative side by designing clothes for their own paper doll, a pin for their vest and a pendant to wear home. Remember, make new friends but keep the old, one is silver and the other is tie-dyed! Fulfills badge activities 1, 2, 5, 6, 9 and 10.
Fee: $30 per child; $10 per chaperon.
Fees include a nighttime snack, breakfast, the Art to Wear badge, a Michigan Historical Museum patch and all craft
supplies.
Preregistration required. For more information, please telephone (517) 373-1359 or send us an e-mail.
