MHESLA to Originate FFELP Loans for Academic Year 2009-10 MHESLA will begin originating Federal Family Education Loan Program (FFELP) loans August 3, 2009. All Stafford, PLUS and GRAD PLUS loans funded by MHESLA for Academic Year 2009-10 will be eligible for a 0.25% interest rate reduction for ACH payments. MHESLA's lender code is 825585 and it should be noted that this lender code uses Great Lakes loan servicing and guarantee.

(TPD) discharge of Federal Family Education Loan (FFEL) Program loans, William D. Ford Federal Direct Loan (Direct Loan) Program loans, Federal Perkins Loans, and the service obligation of Teacher Education Assistance for Higher Education (TEACH) Grants. The Web site serves as an online information resource center for the TPD Discharge process for borrowers, physicians, loan holders and veterans. | MI-LOAN Program Announces New Rehabilitation Option The Michigan Higher Education Student Loan Authority (MHESLA) is pleased to announce the implementation of our MI-LOAN Program Rehabilitation Option, effective immediately. To qualify for the Option, MI-LOAN borrowers who have outstanding defaulted loans are required to make nine on-time payments within a ten month period.
