• MPSC Issues Request for Proposal for Michigan Energy Efficiency Grant 
The RFP makes available up to $2 million and invites proposals from non-profit organizations and universities that will conduct testing and/or perform studies to explore the feasibility and advance the deployment of offshore wind technologies. The grant is funded by the Low?Income and Energy Efficiency Fund.

• Low Income and Energy Efficiency Fund Report 
P.A. 251 of 2008 Sec. 335 (2) mandates a report on the distribution of funds appropriated for the low-income and energy efficiency assistance program. P.A. 251 requires submission of the report to legislative subcommittees, the state budget office, and the fiscal agencies by November 1, 2009.

• Michigan's Renewable Energy Certification System Launched
The MPSC today said the state's renewable energy certification system that will track credits for Michigan's renewable energy standard is up and running.
