Environmental Review Requirements
The Michigan State Housing Development Authority (MSHDA) requires site-specific environmental screening for all development proposals being considered for financing. The Phase I Environmental Site Assessment is an intake requirement that must be submitted before any proposal can be formally accepted for MSHDA mortgage loan processing. Tax Credit and Pass-Through applications must have all elements of the MSHDA Environmental Review Requirements completed when the application is submitted for review.
