The specialized investigative services provided by both the East and West Regions include the areas of organized crime, white collar crimes, tax fraud, auto theft, fugitive apprehension, narcotics trafficking and interdiction, computer crimes, identity fraud, casino gaming, surveillance, violent crimes, cold case homicides, anti-terrorism, video enhancement, and electronic technical services. Nineteen multi-jurisdictional drug task forces composed of state, local, county, and federal agencies are supervised by the East and West Region Special Investigation Divisions.
