Michigan Government Television (MGTV) will offer its cable television viewers across the state temporary additional programming hours. Beginning on Monday, September 14th, 2009, 10:00 a.m. (EST) and continuing through Friday, October 9, 2009, 2 p.m. (EST) MGTV will offer expanded hours of programming 24 hours a day/7days a week for this period. Expanded hours will include coverage of expected longer House of Representatives and Senate sessions as they rush to meet the October 1st deadline to approve the 2009-2010 State Budget, and the Michigan Supreme Court opening week of session, October 6th and 7th.
