The Michigan History Foundation invites you to the 2009 Jingle Ball, a premier holiday event held the night after Silver Bells in the City kicks off the holiday season in mid Michigan. The Jingle Ball raises funds that every year help 80,000 children discover Michigan history.

Here are just some of the highlights you can look forward to at the 2009 Jingle Ball:

  • Valet parking and a luxurious red carpet that leads you and your friends into a world of holiday elegance! (Black tie is encouraged.)
  • Musical entertainment
  • An array of sumptuous hors d'oeuvres and beverages.
  • A fabulous silent auction for early holiday shopping deals.
  • The presentation of the 2009 Odyssey Awards, honoring exceptional Michigan history educators.

The Michigan Historical Museum—flagship of the Michigan Historical Museum System—is located inside the Michigan Library and Historical Center, 702 West Kalamazoo Street, Lansing. The museum and visitor parking are on the north side of Kalamazoo Street, two blocks east of M. L. King Jr. Boulevard. Admission and weekend parking are free.
