A Tawas Point Christmas

Saturday
December 5, 2009

Tawas Point Lighthouse, East Tawas

You may feel as if you've walked into a life-sized snow-globe scene—families enjoying a hayride, strolling carolers and a spot to warm up with hot chocolate or cider.

The lighthouse will be open from 1 to 6 p.m. when we light the Tawas Point Christmas tree. Take a Lighthouse tour for only $2 per person.
This event is free of charge, although a Michigan State Parks motor-vehicle permit is required for park entry. For more information, please send us an e-mail or telephone (989) 362-5658, TDD (517) 373-1592.

Tawas Point Lighthouse—part of the Michigan Historical Museum System—is located 2.5 miles southeast of East Tawas, in Tawas Point State Park; a Michigan State Parks motor-vehicle permit is required for park entry. Here's more information about how to find Tawas Point Lighthouse.
