How to use e-IDR

File on line with e-IDR.  It's fast and easy!

Provide the identification number, password and other information requested and hit the "Log-In" button to open the application.

The program is modeled after the paper forms used in the past.  Complete the required fields and hit the "Submit" button.

You will then be asked to re-enter your password.  Once you have done this, your filing will be sent to the Bureau of Elections.  You will receive a confirmation number and an email with a copy of the report attached.  Your information will be posted to our Web site promptly.

Obtain a Password: Provide the information requested and hit the "Assign It" button.  You will receive an e-mail message that contains your unique password for the committee.  While the passwords do not expire, a new password for each committee can be requested once per day.  Each time a new password is requested, you will receive a postcard notification at the mailing address listed in our records informing you that the password has been updated.  If you are already utilizing the MERTS Plus software the same password for uploading can be used to file your Late Contribution Reports and other immediate disclosure reports through an Internet form.
