Effective July 1, 2008, CMS will use Table 1 (Total Population) of the most current published Centers for Disease Control (CDC) Life Expectancy Tables in order to determine life expectancy in relation to Workers' Compensation Medicare Set-aside Arrangements (WCMSA's). Table 1 may be found in the list of detailed tables in the CDC report.
For future reference, the CMS website is a good source for up-to-date information and changes as they relate to workers' compensation.
